📦 Shipping Policy: From Our Hands to Yours
At House of Enira, we believe in transparency and efficiency. Whether your item is ready to ship or being crafted especially for you in Italy, we make sure it reaches you safely.
All orders are dispatched from our central warehouse in the Netherlands.
1. Processing Times
In-stock items
Orders for in-stock items are typically processed and handed over to the courier within 1–2 business days.
Made-to-order items (The Italian Craft)
For pieces crafted especially for you, patience is part of the luxury. Production in Italy generally takes 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the artisan's schedule and the availability of specific leather hides. Once crafted, each piece travels to our warehouse in the Netherlands for a final quality inspection before it is shipped to you.
These timelines are estimates. We will keep you informed if production is faster or if unforeseen delays occur.
2. Delivery Estimates & Couriers
We work with trusted courier partners — PostNL, DPD and DHL — so your parcel arrives safely. Every shipment is insured and tracked.
- EU, United Kingdom, Norway & Switzerland: 2–8 business days after dispatch.
- United States & Canada: 15–25 business days after dispatch, due to customs clearance and long-distance transport.
As soon as the courier scans your parcel, you will receive an automated email with your tracking number.
3. Shipping Rates & Destinations
All rates are per order and include insurance and tracking. The exact amount is always shown at checkout before you pay.

Shopping from outside the eurozone? Prices and shipping costs are automatically shown in your local currency at checkout.
4. Customs, Duties & Taxes
European Union: No customs duties apply — your order ships duty-free.
United Kingdom, Norway & Switzerland: Your bag qualifies for 0% import duty under the trade agreements between the EU and these countries. Local import VAT may still be collected by the courier on delivery and is not included in our prices.
Canada: Your bag qualifies for 0% import duty under the EU–Canada trade agreement (CETA). Local sales tax (GST/HST) may still be collected on delivery and is not included in our prices.
United States (DAP — Delivered At Place): Our prices do not include import duties or taxes. As the customer, you are the importer of record and are responsible for any duties, taxes or handling fees charged by customs or the carrier on arrival. For leather handbags, this typically does not exceed 15% of the product value. We are moving to a prepaid (DDP) service — this policy will be updated as soon as it is live.
Please note that customs clearance can cause delays beyond our delivery estimates.
5. Delays & Updates
We make sure your order leaves our warehouse on time, but courier delays can occasionally happen. Any transit delays are communicated through the tracking updates from the courier, so we recommend keeping an eye on your tracking link for the latest status.
